Alastair is the Business Practice Pharmacist for Llanfyllin Group Practice, in North Powys, Wales. Over the last 2 years, he’s been responsible for the business profitability, clinical governance and team development of the practice’s 3 dispensary sites, dispensing to over 10,000 patients. Alastair has had a long history in Community Pharmacy Management as an Area Development Manager for Alliance Boots and as a Business Development Executive for Alliance UniChem Retail in the Netherlands and Switzerland. In addition he has run his own pharmacy and Post Office in central Cheshire. He has a keen interest in rugby union, and is in fact a level 2 IRB qualified coach, and enjoys chairing a local investment club.
